The Ginger Goldmine Grilled Cheese features the smooth Rumiano Organic Gouda, ginger-marinated pears, carmelized-smoked bacon, home-grown chives, topped with a Honey Dijon Ginger Spread on a Poppy Seed-Buttered Bread Stick. This recipe was inspired by my love for cooking outdoors with friends, while using fresh, uniquely-prepared ingredients. To give my friends a campfire experience, the bacon and pears are smoked. Once they break through the toasted outer layer of the pear, their taste buds are elevated from the ginger-infused core. The culinary experience is then balanced with the sweet tang of Honey Dijon. When I watch my friends take each bite, I see their joy and I am satisfied knowing that I accomplished my goal.
