This cheese recently placed 5th in the Wisconsin Cheesemaker Associations 2007 U.S. Cheese Championship contest – the highest place given to an organic cheese in the competition.
Cheddar Cheese is a hard pale yellow to orange smooth textured cheese originally made in the English village of Cheddar, in Somerset.
Cheddar flavors vary depending on length of aging and its origin. Medium cheddar is typically aged from 6 months to 1 year.
